Springs can come in many shapes, forms, Turns and Types.

Pocket Springs and Bonnel Springs are the 2 most common types.

*  Generally the thickness of gauge of wire tells us how strong the spring is.

eg a 2mm gauge spring is stronger than a 1.6mm gauge spring.

*  Also, how many turns in the spring, will tell us how firm or soft a spring is.

The more turns in a spring , allows it the compress more.

eg - a 7 Turn spring is softer than a 5 turn spring.
